Preliminary Investigation
The starting point for our services is the preliminary investigation. This preliminary assessment provides a timely and cost effective way for you to make informed decisions in your overall case handling.
In this stage, we obtain a sector by sector mirror image of the storage device to preserve the state of "the source". We do an assessment to establish if the data you seek is available, recoverable and relevant. We can provide a report on file structure and integrity as well as whether undeleting is possible. Based on what data you require we can make recommendations for further handling of the data.

Content Examination in Functioning Media:
Depending on the investigation requirements we look at two formats when locating evidence-establishing activities. The first is computer generated data, such as evidence created by the operating system, temporary files, software applications and caching. The second is evidence created by a user, such as e-mails, database entries, spreadsheet entries and personal files, etc.
The individual fee for this service would be quoted after the preliminary report and based on project requirements.
Data Recovery and Content in Non-Functioning Storage Devices:
If the data is located on a non-functioning storage media, there must be a data recovery done prior to the information examination. Our data recovery methods are second to none and in most cases we can retrieve data previously thought unattainable.
Fees for this service depend on the complexity of the data recovery from the non-functioning media. We will include this quotation in the preliminary report in order to assist you in making an informed decision.
Expert Witness Services:
We can provide expert testimony for both work conducted from this office and for data storage/recovery in general.

In the case of ongoing paid forensic cases we offer: Data Conversion- Converting of relevant data files into other formats to address issues arising during the trial presentation. Multiple Copies- In addition to our original report, we can provide an agreed upon number of copies of the examined data. Drive Sanitation- To completely and safely remove data for security measures, we have the facilities to clear storage and backup media.
